About Us

Pohick Estates Civic Association is a corporation subject to laws in the Code of Virginia, Title 13.1 Chapter 10, The Nonstock Corporation Act. From about 1961 until about 1969, there existed a Pohick Forest Citizens Association. The association was first incorporated in 1970 as Pohick Civic Association. Throughout most of the past 30 years, both names Pohick Civic Association and Pohick Estates Civic Association (as well as several other variations) have been used. In 2001, the association's official corporate name on file with the State Corporation Commission was changed to Pohick Estates Civic Association, which we refer to as PECA.
